Handlung

This manga presents two distinct narratives. In one, PR representative Sadie Thompson investigates sabotage at her employer's oil rigs, aiming to prove she's moved past her "bad girl" past. However, someone threatens her and her recently paroled half-brother, Caleb, to suppress evidence. Caleb's parole officer, Jon Garrison, distrusts Sadie but she needs his help. The other narrative follows Lee, who works for a high-end supermarket in England. On a business trip to France to buy wine, she encounters Gilles, her former lover who jilted her six years prior, and he introduces her as his fiancée despite her engagement to Drew.
