The discovery of SA cells led to significant changes in human civilization, resulting in the emergence of new sentient beings called Adams. These Adams established and govern the new society. In response, a group known as Anti-netters arose in rebellion. Eda and his father have lived in secrecy for years, though Eda was uncertain if he was truly an Anti-netter. His eventual imprisonment by the Anti-netters brings him closer to understanding the true nature of this new society.
