The Suehiro Detective Agency is a newly established firm run by a quirky trio: the laid-back manager Hisago, the dog-loving chief investigator Shimeki, and the administrator Tsukumo. They are often joined by Shimeki's Pomeranian, Kobayashi-kun. Despite their title, the agency rarely receives significant cases, often finding themselves with ample free time. Their days are typically filled with office banter, internal politics, and occasionally, the search for lost pets. While paying customers are scarce, Hisago's father provides occasional financial support, allowing the agency to stay afloat.
