Synopsis

Mitsuha Miyamizu is a high school girl living in a rural Japanese town who dreams of experiencing life in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Taki Tachibana is a high school boy in central Tokyo, balancing school with a part-time job and an interest in architecture. One day, Mitsuha wakes up in Taki's body, and Taki finds himself in Mitsuha's. This body-switching phenomenon occurs sporadically, leading them to communicate by leaving notes and messages for each other. As a comet approaches Earth, their intertwined lives begin to have a significant impact on one another.
