Your lie in April

Synopsis

Kousei Arima was a piano prodigy, dominating competitions and earning the nickname "Human Metronome" for his precise playing. However, after his mother, who was also his instructor, passed away when he was eleven, he suffered a mental breakdown during a recital. This trauma left him unable to hear the sound of his own piano, leading him to abandon music. Two years later, at 14, Kousei lives a colorless life with his friends Tsubaki and Watari. Everything changes when he meets Kaori Miyazono, a free-spirited violinist whose vibrant playing style captivates him and begins to draw him back into the world of music.
