Tokyo Ghoul

Synopsis

Tokyo is plagued by mysterious entities known as "ghouls," who consume human flesh and blend undetected into society. Ken Kaneki, a reserved college student and avid reader, frequents a local cafe. There, he meets Rize, a young woman who shares his passion for books. Their connection takes a dark turn when Kaneki discovers Rize is a ghoul. An incident leaves Kaneki critically injured, and he awakens in a hospital to find that Rize's organs have been transplanted into him, transforming him into a human-ghoul hybrid.
