Super Psychic Policeman Chojo

Synopsis

In Chinjuku, the city that never sleeps, rookie officer Nao Ippongi joins the force with a judo black belt and a reputation for tremendous strength that earned her the nickname "Gorilla." She is paired with senior officer Meguru Chojo, a specialist whose psychic abilities include mind reading, clairvoyance and telepathy. Chojo is lazy, unpredictable and unpopular with his colleagues and the neighborhood, and he is not above using his gifts to lie, cheat and get ahead. Posted to a run-down police station, the mismatched duo handles a string of absurd cases and eccentric locals, with the comedy built on Chojo's power and tactlessness and Nao's brute force.
