Suikoden: The Anime

Synopsis

Riliu and Jowy are close friends serving in the Unicorn Youth Brigade, a youth military unit of the Highland Kingdom, a powerful military nation in the north-east of the Dunan region. The brigade has fought in a long border dispute with the City-States of Jowston, and a truce was signed a few months earlier, bringing a fragile peace. The two boys share the same night skies, the same tent and the same hope that daily life will return once the fighting ends. Beneath the calm, however, the embers of a new war continue to smolder. The anime adapts the game Gensou Suikoden II.
