Akikan!

Synopsis

Kakeru Daichi, a high school student who collects rare juice cans, experiences an unusual event when a melon soda can he buys transforms into a beautiful girl. He names her Melon, and soon learns that she is an "Akikan"—a special can created to take human form. Melon, being a steel Akikan, requires carbon dioxide to survive, which she obtains through kissing. This transformation is part of a secret government project where Akikans, divided into steel and aluminum types, must battle each other to determine which container material is superior. Kakeru finds himself entangled in this experiment, especially when his childhood friend, Najimi, also acquires an aluminum Akikan.
