How to Train Your Dragon

Synopsis

In the mythical Viking village of Berk, dragons frequently raid, stealing livestock and endangering the villagers. Hiccup, the undersized son of the village chieftain, Stoick the Vast, is deemed too weak to fight. He instead creates mechanical devices. During a dragon raid, Hiccup manages to injure a rare Night Fury dragon, but when he finds it, he cannot bring himself to kill it. Instead, he frees the dragon and begins to befriend it, naming it Toothless. Through his interactions with Toothless, Hiccup discovers that the long-standing conflict between Vikings and dragons is more complex than it appears.
