Koguma is a second-year high school student living in Hokuto, Yamanashi. She has no parents, friends, hobbies or goals, and her days feel empty. After a visit to a vehicle shop, she ends up buying a used Honda Super Cub for a small sum, hoping it will brighten her monotonous routine. Riding it to school for the first time, she finds that running out of gas or taking a detour becomes a small adventure. Her classmate Reiko, who also rides a motorcycle to school, starts talking to her about it. Through the little motorcycle, Koguma's lonely world begins to open up to a new everyday life and to friendship.
