Lee Sihoo was raised in a demanding environment where academic achievement and reputation were highly valued. During a visit to his father's hospital, he encountered Choi Hyunseong, a young boy from an abusive home whose mother had vanished. After a brief meeting, their paths diverged. Years later, Lee Sihoo meets Choi Hyunseong again when the latter transfers to his school at the end of his third year of middle school.
