Norman, an otaku, frequently posts hateful comments online. He encounters an anonymous gay user whose posts suggest mental distress, leading to a keyboard battle between them. This online conflict eventually results in an in-person meeting, where Norman discovers the gay user is Chris, a popular individual from his own department. Chris subsequently learns Norman's secret and begins to blackmail him.
