Handlung

Authored by YAN Kai, "Short Stories" is a collection of Chinese manhua short stories published between 1996 and 2004. The stories offer realistic portrayals of characters facing everyday situations, exploring themes of suffering, love, and hatred. Each narrative, often spanning just a few pages, provides a slice-of-life perspective, with one notable example being "The chair," which depicts a budding romance from the unique viewpoint of a classroom chair. The collection reflects a clear influence from Japanese manga.
