Ageha, a young woman who enjoys designing and making purses for her friends, is shocked and dismayed when her older sister announces her engagement and pregnancy. Ageha, who holds her sister in high regard, struggles to accept the news, especially since she disapproves of her sister's fiancé. To involve Ageha in the wedding preparations, her sister takes her to Velvet Blue Rose, a bridal shop run by a two-man team, Yukari and Mitsu, who specialize in designing and creating wedding dresses. Ageha is immediately drawn to the shop and the craft, leading her to take on the task of making her sister's wedding dress.
