Soldier

简介

During the Tenmei Great Famine, a period marked by widespread crop failures, starvation, and desperation, a wandering swordsman known as Okasa Haminosuke, the "Funeral Soldier," travels the land. He encounters a woman named Okimi after saving her from the Setagawa River near Ise. Through this event, he also meets Genshi, a female merchant. Genshi appears to be involved in a scheme where she sells Okimi to brothels, receives payment, and then helps her escape, only to repeat the process, profiting from the transactions. Their lives are deeply affected by the harsh realities of the famine.
