A group of classmates reunites in their hometown and rents a recreational boat for a day of freedom on the sea. Their enjoyment is short-lived, however, as a giant man-eating shark begins to attack them. One by one, the youths become prey to the shark. When their boat breaks down during the attacks, they find themselves in a desperate situation in the open ocean, fighting for survival against the aquatic predator.
