Sairuiu

Trama

Sairuiu is a collection of eight short stories. The first story, "Closing Day," introduces two men who bond over their shared love for gaming, a friendship that soon evolves as one of them desires a deeper connection. Another story, "The Voices of Cicadas," follows Iwasaki, who prefers casual relationships with married men to avoid the pain of abandonment. "Chocolate Soldier" explores why people strive for possession when observation could suffice. Other stories include "Laundream," about an overworked individual finding rest at a laundromat, and "To Hate Without Trying," which delves into Kubota's peculiar dislike for fishcakes.
