Lorraine Dancy uncovers a shocking truth: her father, Thomas, who she believed died years ago, is alive and living in a small town across the border. While searching for him, she finds herself framed for theft and pursued by the police, a local crime boss, and the actual thief. Jack Keller, a friend of her father's, offers to help her escape.
