Oo Edo Rocket

Synopsis

In Edo, during the 13th year of the Tenpō era (1842), government reforms have outlawed all forms of luxury, including theatrical performances, inventions, and fireworks. Despite these restrictions, a young fireworks artisan named Seikichi harbors a dream of creating an unprecedented, colossal firework. His test launches frequently lead to him being pursued by government officials. One night, while testing a rocket, Seikichi inadvertently interrupts a battle between a blue monster, a white monster, and human warriors. The blue monster, distracted by Seikichi's rocket, allows the white monster to escape. The following day, a mysterious and beautiful girl approaches Seikichi with an unusual request: to craft a firework capable of reaching the moon.
