Yaneda Shigeru lives alone with his cat, Konbu. One day, Konbu mysteriously transforms into a human-like form, retaining her cat ears and tail. Shigeru, who has a cat-girl fetish, is unbothered by this change. However, Konbu is a high-class cat with refined tastes and desires an elegant lifestyle, even wishing for a more sophisticated name. This leads to a clash of wills as Shigeru attempts to mold Konbu into an obedient cat-girl, while Konbu tries to transform Shigeru into an elegant butler. The manga explores whether they will achieve their individual goals or reach a mutual understanding.
