Grande, a down-on-his-luck warrior, often complains to his blacksmith friend Jengo that he could do more good if only he had a magic sword. One day, Grande attempts to acquire a powerful sword, but instead encounters a dark artifact that attaches itself to him. Jengo, mesmerized by the object, offers Grande to it. A mysterious sword then appears before Grande, which he takes into his possession.
