Kousaka, a violinist dissatisfied with his current orchestra, seeks a new ensemble. He responds to an advertisement for a new orchestra, only to discover an abandoned warehouse being converted into a rehearsal space by an eccentric old man. Initially, there is no conductor, but Kousaka assumes the role of first violin after being critiqued by the old man. It is then revealed that the old man is, in fact, the conductor and musical director, who has assembled this new orchestra with ambitious goals, aiming to refine their skills within a month.
