Nagase Mito, a medical student often described as robotic due to his lack of emotional expression, finds himself single after his girlfriend leaves him for this very reason. He then encounters Kuno Shunsuke, the owner of a cafe. Shunsuke is outwardly kind and sociable, but Mito soon discovers he is also older, irresponsible, and a womanizer with his own past trauma. Despite these contrasting personalities, Mito begins to develop feelings for Shunsuke, leading to an age-gap romance.
