Namio Ikazuki, a 14-year-old video game enthusiast, stumbles upon a new customizable game called "Iron World." He discovers that the game mirrors an alternate version of his own city. The following day, a character he designed in the game manifests in the real world. She informs him that interferences between the real world and "Iron World" have occurred, compelling him to confront the villains he himself created within the game.
