Hanemono

あらすじ

Chie Nakahara, a 30-year-old woman, views herself as a "Hanemono," or flawed individual, due to a past illness and surgery that resulted in the loss of her uterus. This experience led to her divorce and a subsequent reluctance to pursue new romantic relationships, fearing further emotional pain. Her perspective begins to shift when she encounters Mr. Sakaki at an art gallery. Drawn to his gentle nature, Chie finds herself feeling fulfilled in his company, yet she remains apprehensive about the potential for a sad outcome if their connection develops into love, given her physical condition.
