Kano, a man seeking new employment after leaving his previous company, receives an unexpected offer from the talented young painter Shiki: to become his live-in manager. Despite the unusual proposal, Kano is captivated by Shiki's art and decides to accept the offer, moving in with the artist. He soon finds himself constantly affected by Shiki's affectionate nature and close proximity, which is surprising given Shiki's younger age.
