Fly Fisher Iwana

Synopsis

Iwana Ayuhara, a skilled fly fisher, challenges the professional angler Atsushi Kitayama, known for his success in mountain streams. Their competition involves catching the most fish within an hour, with the loser's fly going to the winner. Kitayama, also called the "Dry Fly Magician," utilizes an "ultra-fast casting" technique. This manga follows Iwana as she travels and engages in fishing showdowns with various masters across the country, all while searching for her grandfather, Keiichiro Ayuhara, a legendary fly fisherman known as the "father of Japanese fly fishing."
