Kagetora, a 34-year-old yakuza, finds his standing within his clan precarious following the death of the chairman, who had been his protector. To avoid being excommunicated, he attempts to engage in legitimate business, but his lack of experience yields poor results. During an encounter where he is asked to rough someone up, he meets Minatoma, a college student who remains composed even when faced with violence. Their unexpected meeting sets their lives on a chaotic path, intertwining the fates of an old-fashioned yakuza unfamiliar with love and a modern student.
