Fade Out

あらすじ

Agano Kokage, the eldest daughter of a family with spiritual heritage, gains the ability to see ghosts and other powers on her 14th birthday. Her family is said to be half-spirit and half-human, and her grandmother's ghost attempts to guide her in understanding these new abilities. Kokage's ancestors once moved freely between the physical and spirit worlds, but her grandmother warns that becoming a spirit means an irreversible departure from life. However, Kokage's childhood friend, Toshiaki, manages to pull her back to the physical world after an accidental transformation into a ghost. This event attracts the attention of Shiine, another skilled individual from a 'ghost family', who becomes Kokage's new mentor.
