In a world under siege by giant monsters and alien warships, 12-year-old Takuma Ippongi navigates the destruction alongside his girlfriend, Koyori. Takuma's impulsive nature and lack of self-control often lead to him using excessive force, even in attempts to help. His well-intentioned but overly aggressive actions frequently result in unintended harm, as demonstrated when he injures Koyori while trying to extinguish a fire on her sweater. This recurring flaw highlights his struggle to act with gentleness and moderation.
