The Mizuki Diving Club (MDC) faces imminent closure due to financial difficulties. Their sponsors are prepared to withdraw support unless a drastic change occurs. A new coach, Kayoko Asaki, makes a deal with the club's parent company: if one of the MDC members can qualify for the Olympics within the next year, the club will be saved. The story follows the members, including Tomoki Sakai, as they strive to meet this challenging goal and secure the future of their club.
