Daikinboshi

Sinopsis

Daikinboshi is a collection of seven short stories. One of these stories, "Angel," follows a young man named Angel who loves cycling through the Spanish countryside. During a long ride with two friends, he discovers a deserted village over a hundred kilometers away. There, he meets Maria, who provides them with food. Angel becomes infatuated with Maria and later makes a bet with her father: if Angel wins an upcoming cycling tournament, Maria can travel to England; otherwise, his bike and legs will be broken.
