Sakurai Fumihiko feels a mix of relief and melancholy when his best friend, Iijima Takumi, introduces his new boyfriend, Kai Tooru. Fumihiko, who always saw himself as Takumi's protector, feels his role might be diminishing. As Kai's friend, Nanbu Yoshitaka, joins their circle, the four begin to spend more time together.
