Anpanman is a hero whose head is made of an anpan, a bun filled with red bean paste. He has prominent facial features including large eyes, a big nose, and a wide smile. His mission is to combat hunger, evil, and despair throughout Anpan World. He often shares pieces of his own head to feed those who are starving. However, Anpanman has vulnerabilities common to yeast-based products, such as mold, bacteria, and water.
