The story begins when Takashi Ichinose, a struggling theater actor, sends an urgent letter to his younger brother, Naoya, who is a prodigy studying in the United States. The letter informs Naoya that their father has run away and requests his immediate return. This event leads to a long-awaited reunion between the two brothers, who have been separated for six years. However, despite their reunion, their relationship does not easily return to its previous state.
