The Metropolitan Police Department's Special Crimes Investigation Unit, Section 5, is an unconventional team often viewed as a liability by their peers. Led by Section Chief Osaki, the unit comprises three skilled female subordinates: Ibuki Tona, Mizusawa Reika, and Tejima Shiori. Operating as an "experimental section," they undertake covert investigations, with the three women frequently going undercover to confront and apprehend criminals in Tokyo.
