Sinopsis

Humanity faces extinction from a new species called "Eclipse," creatures of bone driven to eliminate mankind. Scientist Kurusu Kenji created the "Osteon," Eclipse-like beings formed from human DNA that obey their human creators, to combat this threat. After Kenji's disappearance, his assistant, Kidogawa Rokuko, seeks out his estranged teenage son, Kurusu Akira. Akira, who believes his father abandoned him, is initially reluctant to join the organization. However, he is forced to accept his own Osteon from Rokuko when Eclipse attacks, gradually becoming involved with the group that expects him to succeed his father.
