Inspired by Roland Barthes's work, "A Lover's Discourse" explores intimate relationships. The story follows a couple in a cafe who attempt to discuss love while playing a game. Despite their efforts, they find themselves circling the subject without fully grasping its core meaning. This work was a 2024 graduate project from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.
