La Grenadière

Описание

Directed by FUKADA Koji, "La Grenadière" is a Ga-nime that adapts Honoré de Balzac's novel of the same name. Japanese painter FUKAZAWA Takeshi created over 70 tempera paintings for the animation, which depict a story of a mother and child in the 19th century. The film uses music to enhance the experience, aiming to evoke the atmosphere of the mansion central to Balzac's work through its artistic visuals.
